Top end sound card recommendations?

Hi all,

I'm getting into soft synth recording and MIDI, and have a korg
hardware synthesizer that I want to hook up to a new computer that I am
building from scratch. Mostly I plan on using rose garden and timidity.
Any recomendations? I have 9.2 but plan on buying 9.3 .
