Hi.
I just upgraded to Suse 9.3 and now I can't open a remote x application
using ~/.Xauthority like I used to do. ssh -X works.
Where is this restriction configured ? I have no idea where to look or
which words to search for in google.
When I try (xeyes, for instance) it says (after 5-6 seconds):
Error: Can't open display:
I have just noticed that while the old versions listened on port 6000:
old_suse# netstat -nlp | grep 6000
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:6000 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 1129/X
The new version doesn't. Where is this behaviour controlled ?
Thanks in advance
