Thanks very much, with your help and some trial and error the command that
did it was,
mount -t udf /dev/dvdram /media/dvdram
However, it seems to be very messy when using KDE, I find that I have to
insert the disc, wait for it to automatically mount, then goto a command
line and type:
umount /dev/dvdram
mount -t udf /dev/dvdram /media/dvdram
I can then use the disc but commands like eject don't work (not even the
button on the drive) I have not risked writing to the disc yet.
What gave me the clue to use dvdram was the following line in /etc/fstab
/dev/dvdram /media/dvdram subfs
noauto,fs=cdfss,ro,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=utf8 0 0
Is there any way that I can make it easier to use from KDE?
Thanks,
Martin
