SuSe 9.3: "YOU" and System Update, what is the difference if any) ?

Hello:
  I have to admit there being a bit confused!

This two "YAST" applications seems to me to do very similar things, excepted
that one does it only on line... that the other can do when you change the
source of data.

In my view, this is quite confusing... and should not.
Could it be just a documentation issue?
Your take on this?
