Isn't Löwenbrau also brewed under license? The original Hofbrauhaus in
München is Löwenbrau and their slogan is "a beer like Bayern (Bavaria)", so
not very Dutch...
Labatt's is Canadian, Brahma is Brazillian, Murphy's is Irish, not UK as far
as I know... Sounds like most of them are brewed under license...
Löwenbrau is still registered as a Bayerisch (Baverian) company, with their
headquarters in Nymphenburger Straße 7, 80335 München.

Most of those are also brewed in the UK under license by Allied Breweries
these days. I drank Rolling Rock when I was in the States on a trip and
liked the taste, when I got back to the UK, my local supermarket was
selling it. I bought some, it didn't taste anything like Rolling Rock,
brewed under license doesn't unfortunately mean you will get the same taste
as the original - probably something to do with the water, I notice tea
doesn't tast the same here in Germany as it does in England, even if you
bring the tea from England...
