Apache2 / PHP5 Problem on SuSE 9.3

I did a clean install of SuSE Professional 9.3 (from the retail DVD) on
one of our new servers. I've got some unexplainable problems with the
Apache2 and PHP5. I've installed both software packages from DVD
without any further configuration. Apache2 seems to work, because I can
access normal .html-documents. PHP doesn't seem to work. I've browsed
through the configuration files and everything seems ok. I even
compared the configuration with some of our other SuSE 9.3 servers and
I can't find the problem.

But what I can find is that there's one strange happening. When I start
Apache2, I get this error message, which also turns up in error_log:

Destroying config 0x5ba338
Creating new config (0x5becf8) for (NULL)

I haven't seen this on our other SuSE 9.3 server.

Any clue what's wrong here? I'm afraid the server is on the other side
of the country, so I can do a complete re-install from DVD. Ofcoarse
I've already deleted and re-installed the apache2 and php5 packages,
but that didn't help.

Thanks for your suggestions!
