Hi,

I'm having a problem burning data dvds using K3B. I'm currently using Suse
9.3 but I've experienced the same problem with Mandrake 10.2. When I burn
a file to disc, everything proceeds as it should do (i.e. no errors) and
the disc works as expected under Suse (or other linux). However, the names
appear truncated when the disc is put into a Windows machine. I've tried a
few of the options within K3B but haven't had any luck.

An example of this is:

real name: enterprise.s01e01.broken.bow.part1.avi
under Windows XP Pro, appears as: enterprise.s01e01.broken.bo.av

The data is in tact, it's just the name that is wrong. As I said above
though, the names appear correctly on a linux system.

If it's important, my system is an Athlon 750 with a LG DVDRAM GSA-4081B
drive.

If anybody can help, it would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Dave
