I don't understand something/anything about yast. I have personal SUSE 9.1
at home,
and when I want to install something yast shows me all the packages
(installed/uninstalled) and
everything works fine. However, I have at work 9.1 SUSE Pro , and when I
bring up yast it only shows what is already installed and I can't figure
how to make it access the CD-ROM packages. (The install source is set the
CD.)
Next, I tried putting the CD in, found the package via the file explorer
(emacs) and clicked. It brought up
an option to install with yast. yast flashes up for just a second and then
nothing. Any ideas? I just want to install emacs and it's proving to be very
tricky.
