Which DVD Recorder to buy

I'm looking to get a DVD Recorder of some sort soon, but need one that
works with Suse. I'm currently running 9.2 and am happy with it, but
would upgrade if necessary.

I was really looking at the Lite-On 1693S, but cannot find anything on
the net about getting it to work under Suse. Anyone have one of these
working?

Anyone have ANY DVD Recorder working? Which brands, what drawbacks?
