  One would think that the only disc in the x86_64/iso directory would
then be the DVD.

  I noticed that yast online update also points at 32 bit directories
as well. Even if the 64 bit update directory is pointed at through
the user selection dialog, the only directory that it seeks from is
suse/i386.
