Dave is exactly right on the root applications. The lag time trying to
get into root based programs like Yast does take some time. I never
associated it with a security feature though. I'm the only one that uses
this box so that kind of stuff is of little use to me.
  Another issue I have is with knode and it's tie to Kwallet. Being the
only one using this box I can't see using the wallet. 10.0 seems to need
the wallet because it likes to "force quit" without it.
  The differences are subtle and other than the flash drive issue 9.3
is faster and just as complete for my needs. However I am still with 10
at the moment. Like all the other distro changes it'll end up winning me
over eventually. But I still need to replace my 9.3 box set.
