I hope you realize this is not just possible in KDE. This is possible in
at least WindowMaker (although you need to configure it) and I asume
many other windowing managers. Gnome at least has the same possibilaty,
although it will (or could) be different keystrokes.
As I do not use it very much I have not really looked into it. I however
have configured SOME keyboard shortcuts to my own liking.
>From the list above what I have in WindowMaker:
Cycling [ALT] [TAB]
Window Control [CTRL][ESC]
Main program menu No idea what that means
Running a command [ALT] [F2]
the process manager No idea what that means
task manager No idea what that means
Now if I say "No idea what that means" That does not mean it is not
possible, I say that I do not know what it means. I am also not trying
to make this into a pissing contest. I am just saying that if Keyboard
Shortcuts are the ONLY reason to stick with KDE, the reason is not good
enough. The other windowing managers are capable of doing the same
thing.
