There has got to be an easier way to configure a new video card once 10.0
has been installed. It won't just pick it up like KUDZU did/does. Does SuSE
have a new hardware program for updated cards? In 9.3 I had to go into the
xorg.conf file to manually change the card and driver parameters and it
worked. When I did the same in 10.0 I got an error message that I don't
remember at the moment. It kick me in to a terminal screen for the manual
update of the xorg.conf file. All of this is with a change going from a
Nvidia card to another Nvidia card. So, is there an auto config program in
10.0 that I am thinking I don't have turned on to pick up new hardware? I
cannot believe there isn't one available. By the way, Going into SaX2 will
not let you change the video card independently of the monitor. You can
change the monitor but you can't change the card. Unless I am missing
something. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks
