Audio editing app? (suse 10)

I am new to audio editing, although previously I have used audacity,
which did mostly what I would want I think.
In suse 10 I cannot find audacity and I wonder if another app is in
the distro, if so, I would try it.

I was guessing, and I installed something which turns out to be cd
tools, and I am not really looking for ripping (just now). TO avoid
uninformed searching and probably more fruitless trial installations -
I would be grateful for suggestions of which app
1) is known to be in suse 10 (or)
2) would be suitable or recommended
