Ok Joe, if you want the 'Windows Experience', Stick with windows. You are
going to have to use the command line occaisionally in Linux. Linux is not
Windows. You even have to use the command line in Windows sometimes.

That said:
Put the cd1 or dvd that you loaded SUSE 10 from in your cd/dvd player.

On the Gnome desktop toolbar.
Click on 'Desktop',
Click on 'Yast',
Click on 'Software Management',
Click on 'OK' on any boxes that popup until you get to the software
installation panel.

Select 'Search' if the filter is not already at search.
Type in clamav and click on the search button.
All the packages you need for installation should be listed on the right.
Check each of them.
Check on 'Accept'.
Agree to any needed dependencies.
Sit back and watch it install.

Any problems, come on back with a good description.

Click on Toolbar 'Desktop', then 'SUSE Help Center', then tell it to
build the database. Check all the boxes and proceed. You'll eventually get
to the help center which contains a wealth of knowledge on how stuff works.
