So once more to understand what's going on here:
If you click on an RPM you get the option to install it with Yast. If you right click you also get that, thru "Action"
You can do either. It is not at all necessary to refresh for this, just click OK.
Another thing is dependencies. Yast has option to check that. If you miss something, you write that down and abort.
Then you go to http://rpm.pbone.net/
and find and get what you are missing. You do this with all dependencies as long as you can keep Yast happy.
No matter left or right click. Period.
Distributions are collections of software packages.
There are thousands of them in every distro.
If you want to install from outside a distro you better learn the normal Linux/Unix way to do it. Or stay with the ones you have. Or change distro. Or use several different distros. Or use windows.
You can go now with a warning.
