hehe thanks for your reply. ill give that a try. the sax program looked like
a good interface (albeit somewhat fussy due to my problem). i would also
agree with your assessment that it has chosen the wrong video card.

yeah i dont have that, i manually choose which hdd i want (in the bios)
before i boot. this option was best for me. i have used grub in the past and
i chose not to have the option presented to me when starting the computer.
