I would still prefer a Yast source: ftp.gwdg.de pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_10.0/yast-source
That is the way I went in the end.
The reason is as mentioned here that forcing rpms without knowing what a man page is will surely get one into troubles when we are talking about an upgrade of a whole desktop environment. I f I remember anything it is like 500 files.
Much easier and less prone to mistooks!
