There's no /usr/portage. The first time I installed Suse on my laptop, dpms worked flawlessly. Now that I reinstalled it a 2nd time it's not working. I will try manually installing the latest nvidia driver. Maybe that'll get dpms working. fetchnvidia.sh does not grab the latest driver.

Is anybody else experiencing the KDE kicker crashing on logout? I'm using kdebase 3.4.2. That is the latest version YOU shows. .
