Hi Karen,

A bit off-thread but you seem to be a person who might be able to clarify my
problem.

I have posted this question in several newsgroups (including this group) and
no respons:

Situation: I use KDE almost exclusively (Fluxbox sometimes) on SUSE 10.0.

However, I also use a commercial GTK based app regularly. No problem with
that except for one small nuisance. I find in difficult to get used to
double clicking in this application's file navigator. It is no way to
switch to single clicking within the app - the vendor says system defaults
are used.

I suppose single/double clicking for GTK can be set somewhere in Gnome, but
it sort of feels like overkill to install all of Gnome to investigate this.

So is there a quicker and simpler way?

I have nothing at all against Gnome or GTK but I don't have the SUSE
installation media anymore and I'm on ISDN. Therefore I think it's a bit
"overkill" to download all of Gnome to investigate this minor problem. I
might still do it if I knew for sure that I can change the double click
thing from there as I use this particular GTK app a lot.

BTW, I do have the gtk-qt-engine you mention above installed but I can not
find anything about gtk settings in KDE Control Center, not that I think
mouse behavior would be included there, just thought I'd mentioned it.

Happy Holidays all

Olav
