Nope. She was way to smart to get tangled up with someone that flew into
"Do Not Litter" signs, for a hobby. I never saw her again, and she's
probably someones withered old grandmother by now, but I remember those
eyes and that angelic face; she'll always be young and beautiful, tucked
safely away in my memory.

I just got back from your site, and I have to ask, have you seen the
Geeks&Bikes page using Konqueror, or Opera. Mozilla has a fairly readable
page, but in Konqueror, or Opera, each paragraph is a single line
extending to infinity. It takes some serious cranking to the right to get
to the end of a line. It would appear that your main frame is about as
bent as my "flying bikes" You need to check that out.

To paraphrase something I saw in the news groups;

That's just not right; it's just NOT the way you planned it. ;-)

As to topic, "Bike Geek of the day", that's cute. I like it, and I like
that you put the story in the context of the thread, to show people how
that off topic drift happens, and how spontaneously it developes into a
life of it's own.

I've been staying with this whole thread so I've been following your
conversations with houghi about the site development, and the other biker
stories, but I haven't seen anything beyond your asking each person if you
can quote their stories, and the posts we've shared, as to how far you
intend to take the "Bike Geek of the day" thing. Beyond putting up a story
a day/week/month, whatever, for each new story, are you planning to
archive all the stories into a permanent collection? Something with an
index, to be able to find each story, and maybe categorized by types, if
people write about other biking things, besides accidents?

I know there are a lot of bikers in the various Linux NGs. You could post
an invitation, with a link to your site, to show what you're looking for,
and pick one group to respond to, for fresh stories.

You already know you've got my "yes" vote, and I'll bet each person that
has already posted a story would like to see it happen too.
