Tom,

Use one of the programs who you can find one the Hirens BootCD 6.x or
7.x. You can download the iso file, burn it on an CD, scan it on viruses
(there DOS programs) and boot the CD. Try one of the programs to
resizing partitions. It works, I've resized the OS partition and made a
new Linux native partition. I believe I used partition magic but I'm not
certain. Just pick one and see if it can read and resize linux
partitions and try it. The latest version of Hirens BootCD is 7.6.
