I did try this with my Audigy soundcard, but was unsuccessful. The
OpenSound system's license is now 'free' and I have used OpenSound for a
number of years where my sound card(s) were not natively supported (mostly
laptops)..
The only stipulation on the OpenSound license is that it will expire every 3
months and you will need to download/install the latest...
