I DO remember these days before I had a DVD/CD burner. And, I am caught
at times where I don't have my media library with me, and do installations
via FTP. Of course, technology improves our lives with each passing day.
I now carry two different distros on USB drives on my keychain, meaning
that I can initiate Suse or other installs from within Linux.

But my previous post in this thread was to point out to the pointy-headed
that they shouldn't complain when they run into pointy situations.

The OP was complaining about Suse's distribution methods. He probably
complained first about Debian's distribution methods. He'll probably go
on to a Windoz group, and praise the fact that you can install Windoz from
only 1 CD.

You're always going to have the idiots who look for something to complain
about. They'll hear about 50mb Damn Small Linux, try to install that, and
then complain that there's no KDE or Gnome in it. And where are all the
servers which linux is supposed to have.

"50mb and I didn't get all the servers I wanted installed"

They'll install the Debian, and complain that they had to learn, and use
apt to get all of the software which they really wanted. They'll attempt
to install Suse, and complain about the quantity of media they need to do
it. They'll attempt to install Slackware, and then post on a Windoze
group how impossible it was. And then they'll probably complain that they
had to go out and spend a couple of thousand bucks on software to have a
workable system that can do anything at all.

I just get tired of hearing and reading all the lame complaints.
