No. It was lazy, gang boy mentality zero punctuation bull***.
Nothing more. His subsequent post was all corrected. Imagine that.
I must have had some IMPACT.

Mis-spellings and typos are totally different. Perhaps I was a bit
harsh, but he is used to drill Sgts. C'est la vie.

You are probably just like me. A two or four fingered typist. I do
the same thing, however, I use a spell checker. If you do type with
all eight fingers, then your typing would need further training to
speed it up, and retain accuracy. Still those instances are very
different from what he was doing.

Nope.
He posted back in August in a "Linux users = Pompous assholes" thread.

With my first stab, that putting him in the barrel. You know...
that place that 80% or more or the group have placed me.

My subsequent reply to HIM spelled it out even further, and also had
a suggestion on his Linux learning curve problem.

So I called him a retard. The word retard means to take a step
backward in thinking, learning, or technological advancement. I was
spot on. He called me a "pansy". That merely shows that he cannot
handle hard critique, like the type doled out by a drill sgt. The
fact that he straightened up his act on his subsequent reply gives him
a lot of credit toward accepting instruction. Many idiots in these
groups get worse when chastised.
