Idiot Newbie Question

I installed Suse 10.0 on an aging PC to teach myself Linux, and immediately
made a dumb mistake. After setting it up with the Gnome desktop, I altered a
setting so the computer automatically logs on to my desktop. As a result, I
don't see the boot log-on window that allows me to choose between Gnome and
KDE. I'd be grateful if someone would tell me how remove the auto-on so I
can select KDE. I have explored the documentation and Yast, but can't figure
out how to un-do what I did.
