Maybe you didn't get the concept of the "requires" and "provides" fields of
rpm here. amarok needs any engine for playback, so any rpm providing this
is good. Either xine or realplayer (helix).

$:~> rpm --query --whatrequires amarok_engine
amarok-1.3.1-8.2
$:~> rpm --query --whatprovides amarok_engine
amarok-helix-1.3.1-7

I think I do understand what would be required or what would be provied.
The package needs to be available first:
houghi@penne : rpm --query --whatrequires amarok_engine
no package requires amarok_engine
houghi@penne : rpm --query --whatprovides amarok_engine
no package provides amarok_engine

Using 10.0 32 bit. I did a `rpm --rebuilddb` just to be sure.
pin also did not gave any results for amarok_engine. Only the following
RPMs are on my machine, wich are the 5 CDs:
../suse/i586/amarok-helix-backend-1.3.1-7.i586.rpm
../suse/i586/amarok-helix-1.3.1-7.i586.rpm
../suse/i586/amarok-libvisual-1.3.1-7.i586.rpm
../suse/i586/amarok-xine-1.3.1-7.i586.rpm
../suse/i586/amarok-1.3.1-7.i586.rpm
../suse/i586/amarok-xmms-1.3.1-7.i586.rpm
