Hi, I would like to get my creativeNX webcam running. I heard it should
run with linux, that's why I actually got one but I'm having problems. I
installed:
spca5xx-20060301.tar.gz
SDL-1.2.9.tar.gz
and
spcaview-20051127.tar.gz
as I saw on some ressources in the internet. I then launched spcaview to
see if it's working and I got following output but only a black window :(
[output]
Initializing SDL.
SDL initialized.
bpp 3 format 15
Using video device /dev/video0.
Initializing v4l.

why? how can I get an image displayed? Thank you!
it seems like the camera was recognized correctly but... :?
I recently got a labtec webcam working the the spca software but viewed it
with 'camstream' or something like that. Could try that.
I had to reboot and then it worked here :)
