That is because you insist on installing unsupported stuff instead of
using the supported releases of software.

yes i am aware of the risks but i wanted to take it

I was not debating the risks. You alleged that it takes too much time to
get things working correctly on SUSE Linux, but in fact you have not
tried - you insisted that it was more important to you to install the
latest shiny gadget than to get your system working properly.

It is a trivial task to get SUSE Linux working correctly - I have seen
people with no background in computing set up a working SUSE linux
system in less than an hour.

as today knode stopped working on my laptop

You were warned about possible problems when you insisted on changing
KDE versions. I lost track of what else you did that was non standard
because I lost interest.

yes, this problem probably came up after the kde upgrade. mea culpa...
no, i didn't do anything else.

it's a pity you loose interest for a newbie.

I didn't lose interest because you are a newbie, I lost interest because
you were not interested in discussing the merits of what you proposed
to do and would not heed the warnings that this could cause problems.

Now you say that you are giving up on Linux because of those problems. I
can see nothing in that to make me wish I had not lost interest.
