hello,
I try to erase a dvd+rw with k3b but i do not see that in the menus. I try
to format it again and it tells me i have just to clear the data. In the
configuration menu i can set up the automatic erase of a dvd-rw but no
mention of a dvd+rw.
Is there a program allowing to do it ? k3b 0.12.3; suse 10.0
You're not supposed to erase, or reformat DVD+RW media. You may damage, or
destroy the media by doing so. Read, and heed the warnings packaged with
the media.
The media gets formatted at the time of the first burn. After that, just
insert the media, choose the manner of the new burn, and answer yes, when
prompted if you wish to overwrite the media.
