hello,
I try to erase a dvd+rw with k3b but i do not see that in the menus.
I try to format it again and it tells me i have just to clear the data.
In the configuration menu i can set up the automatic erase of a dvd-rw
but no mention of a dvd+rw.
Is there a program allowing to do it ?
k3b 0.12.3; suse 10.0
Help appreciated.
Thank you.
JMR
I have K3B 0.12.13. Under "Tools", in the menu, you have the option to "Format
DVD+/-RW". Is that what you need?

and that i have just to erase the data but i cannot do it.
I read there are 2 ways to format the dvd : may be one session or multisession but i do not remember. When i try to put other data on the dvd i import the former data and clear them as suggested by k3b.
I burn the dvd but the former data are always there...
With a cd-rw that works without problems.
