Hi,

I was sent a file that had been split with HJSSPLIT. I looked on the net and
found lxsplit to be compatible with hjsplit. According to the manual, it's
very simple to install "just use the make and make install commands". So I
untarred the file and got this after the "make" command:

<Snippety compiler warnings>

I would be very greatful for tips.

Other than the warning about missing_fname possibly being uninitialized, the others are usually only produced when "stdlib.h" isn't included. However, looking at the source for merge.c, the header is included and, when I tried to replicate the error, I only received the warning about missing_fname. Strangely, when using rpmbuild to build RPMs for it[0], I didn't even get this warning.
