I am using SuSE 10. After 10.1 released, can I upgrade it in the
control panel --> system upgrade? or need to download the 10.1 CDs to
perform the upgrade?

Probably. The best tio think is: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. So if
you have a running system, just use it till it is not supported anymore.

However if it is a system that you do not mind loosing data or OS on AND
you like to run the latest version for whatever strange reason, then try
it.

So,according to you there is no other reason than "end of life" to upgrade
SUSE?
