I live in the same time zone as London, England and so have my display
clock set to that. Yesterday for no apparent reason, the display clock
jumped to another time zone approximately 10 hours ahead of London.
I did not observe the precise moment when this happened, but noticed
something was up when my display was showing the time as 21:13 when it
was really nearer to 11:13 - sure enough, the selected timezone for the
display clock was wrong.
This is the second time in 10 years that this has happened to me :-(
Unfortunately, if I have to wait another 10 years for it to happen
again, I will probably have forgotten the circumstances of the previous
event.
