Re: Messed up Network Shares

Suse 10 fully updated
KDE 3.5

I have made a total arse of this Suse installation

Used to be able to access WinXP box shares no problem.
Had a problem when I deleted the login info for my user account (don't
ask) which I have since fixed - since then I can get to the WinXP
shared folders but the Username/Password fails when I try to access
the share. Its got to be the Linux Box but why?

The username / password is correct. Any idea how I broke this and how
to fix it would be appreciated. Been at it for days now and am getting
nowhere. I even set up a test winXP box with nothing but XP on it and
still can't access shared folders from the Linux Box.

Are your shares set as mapped drive links on your MS Win? F: G: etc.

Then delete the current ones and browse to them anew.

Now about this 'deleted the login info for my user account', oh sorry, we're
not allowed to ask. It's just that we all like a good laugh.
