Well, as you already want to run SUSE, the memory should not be a
problem. For real repairjobs, I would use the Ultimate Boot CD.
But you can install SUSE in less memory than what you can run the
Live DVD.
Define a real repair job.
I think it's a lot easier to manipulate the partitions and fstab
of Linux in Linux.
