Thanks. I'll try that. Setup does have such an
option, which I glanced at but I hadn't tried to
decipher which drivers were which.
It's late, I'm tired, and this is just a suggestion. After starting thethat
install and selecting the default language choose Abort Installation. If I
remember correctly you'll end up at a screen where you can look at certain
parameters. Look at the 'loaded and loadable modules' or something to
effect. You may need to load the module for your SATA device. Then
proceed with installation.
This may be wrong but then I said i was tired. The above may be close to
correct so just try it. This is similar to what I've had to do to load
certain SCSI modules & Ethernet modules in the past.
Try it. it 'might' work.
