Firefox-Flash issue in 86_64

I am unable to get the flash-player, which works in the 1.0.8 YAST update
version, to work in the 1.5.0.2 version that is available from the Mozilla
project links. I did a rpm command installation and even did the
SuSeConfig command after. I've copied/linked the two files in every plugin
folder I can find, but it never takes off. While I can roll back to the
1.0.8 version, there are extensions that won't work on anything below 1.5,
nevermind the security patches.

Obviously, I'm overlooking something, but I can't see it. Does anyone else
have this problem, or is it "local"?
