Hello all...
Dumb question: I have a dual boot system (XP Pro/SUSE 10) and I
cannot boot SUSE as fsck complains of bad blocks on hd6.
Other than replacing the hdd, is there any what to possible correct
these bad blocks in Linux? I've certainly searched usenet and the
web in general and come up with quite a few "potential" solutions.
But I was hoping for "real world" advise.
hd6? Is that hda6, hdb6, ...
What is on that partition.
What were the "potential" solutions?
Please give some info where we can work with the info. Now you mainly
say that the engine of your car makes a strange noise. The more procise
you are, the better the "potential" solutions will be.
For now I would say to do a fsck manually.
