Hi all,

I have a workstation and box I would like to be a media center, both
with Suse 9.3.
My workstation is equiped with my dvd drive and a tv card and it plays
dvd just fine - finaly.

So my question:
Can I set up Xine in the media center to play dvd via the network,

Yes... sort of.. Kaffeine supports this. You can broadcast from
the originating host and use kaffeine on the client hosts to receive
the broadcast. It works quite well... but I'd recommend a 100mbit
network at least.

perhaps link the /dev/dvd to the dvd drive in the workstation with nfs?

And another question:
Can I do something similar to watch tv on my media center from the tv
card in my workstation?

Thanks in advance,

Chris
