# rpm -q audacity
audacity-1.3.0_0.1-1.pm.1

Add PackMan and (perhaps also) Guru repositories to Installation Sources
in YaST and it should install automagically.
You probably need to keep your whole system up to date, though.

Thanks for info I have done as you suggest and Audacity did install this
time but has still dependancy issues and will not run.
