Hi,
I installed Suse 10.1RC1 on my machine and downloaded the RC1_RC3 delta iso's.
For some reason I can't succeed in creating new RC3 iso's. When I run the
command, it gives me this output after a few seconds:
reading 205078267 bytes from old iso...fread: Success
But no RC3 iso is being created. As far as I can tell I use the correct syntax
for the command.
Does anyone know what I am missing (apart from newly created RCs's :) )?
I did the same and it worked great. As far as I can tell, I also used
the correct syntax. However as you think it is not needed for me to know
what you used, I think it is not needed for you to know what I used.
Alright, here it goes:
dhcppc1:/home/marc/SUSE101 # applydeltaiso SUSE-Linux-10.1-RC1-i386-CD1.iso SUSE-Linux-10.1-RC1_RC3-i386-CD1.delta.iso /home/marc/SUSE-Linux-10.1-RC3-i386-CD1.iso
Output:
reading 205078267 bytes from old iso...fread: Success
All iso's (both old - RC1 - as delta - RC1_RC3) are in the directory from which I run the script.
I've tried it on a machine running 10.0, which is a different machine than the one running 10.1RC1.
