This is getting frustrating. SU doesn't work, logging in as root

This is not even an averagely good attempt at a troll.
This person has posted messages like this three times recently. He/she
will not give more accurate information when requested. he/she will not
say what happens when he/she tries the advice that has been offered.

Winblows is looking better and better every day.
I dare say that it would to someone who is unwilling to be helped.
From my other post:
I recently had a blowout on 9.3; had to reload the OS. Reloading over the
old 9.3 installation didn't work, so I blew the boot partition away and
started over.
Now, I have lost all permissions on the other disks and partitions. I
can't write to them, i can only view them. Even if I log in as root and
try to change ownership, I get an error I do not have priveledge to do
this.
Short of backing up and starting all over, how can I regain ownership of
the disks? I have 3 IDE disks and one USB disk; I can only write to the
root partition on the boot drive.

I'm running SuSE 10. My machine winked off on SuSE 9.3; I tried to
recover, ran resierfsck, tried to reload 9.3, tried to rrepair 9.3; blew
the disk away and loaded 10.0
I can't access any partition other than my root partition.
I can't change the view numbers.
I can't do anything through YaST, file browser, Nautilus, Konquerer, or
anything else.
I don't know how to change the number or take ownership.
If I can't fix this very soon, it isn't going to matter, because I'll pack
all the *** locked in these drives onto CDs, get rid of SuSE (which I
have been using fairly well for three years) and just put it all on
Winodws partitions and reload W2K, where I don't have any problems taking
ownership of a drive.
In other words I'M F@CKING PISSED.
Snide remarks aren't helping! Jeeze, I come here looking for HELP, not to
be called a fucking Troll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And, what advice has been offered?!?! I can't see it in PAN if it was. I'm
having trouble with Pan, also. It's not loading all the messages from the
group; all I see is my initial request. I also looked at work using
Outhouse Express.
Sorry if I come across as cross, but this is getting FRUSTRATING. I never
had these problems on 9.3.
