New partition created from windows not yet accessible in Suse 10.0

Hi
I have created a new backup partition for Windows XP from within Windows on a dual-boot Suse 10.0, XP pc.
If I navigate "System Menu", "Storage Media" in KDE, I can see the new partition already (but with no green arrow). I have to do something extra I realise in able to access the files in this partition with Suse 10.0. I have to configure Suse 10.0 so that I can mount the partition.

How do I do that please?

If I right click on the unmounted partition in "Storage Media" and select "Mount" on the shortcut menu I get the following error:

mount: can't find /dev/sda5 in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab

Thanks
James
