1. Use Amarok for mp3's.

I'm in Amarok now. It says that some media cannot be loaded (the mp3's
that I want to play. Right now they are on my windows side on a fat32
partition. Does that make any difference ?

Yes. You probably don't have permissions set up right. As I'm not an
expert on that I'd say you're best off if you can move them to your Linux
partition.

Well, first it seems that your original posting said 'soundforge' which is a
windows application !! Now you are saying 'sourceforge' which is what I
thought you might have meant. Sorry but that is not an rpm repository with
which you can point Yast to. That will not work. It does contain both
source files as well as rpm packages. However, it is not laid out in a way
that you can use it as an installation source. If you go to this link you
will see what the available Yast repositories are:

But, as the structure of these repositories is under heavy development some
may not work, are not for the most recent version (10.1) etc. You'll know
when you try to add them to Yast installation sources. I'd suggest at the
very least to add packman & guru.
