mmm. Now I remember that a few years ago, I had a program that would run
individual Linuxprograms over ssh on my Windows machine at work. Even if
it was not superfast, it was workable with connection I had.

I don't know if I still had dialup, or if ADSL, at what speed.

I believe the program was called xwin. This was somewhere in the last
century. What you are looking for is a X server that runs on Windows.

I have looked a bit, but was unable to find a free versi............
WAIT!!1!1!1!!!

http://www.calcmaster.net/visual-c++/xwinlogon/ or the easy to type
http://tinyurl.com/jqpt6 if you use it on a virtual machine.

So here is what I did. I started my Parallels XP. The first thing it did
was update AGV, some other thiongs and rebooted. Now I remember why I
don't want to use Windows. :-)

After reboot it found anew hardware. A new video and a new soundcard,
wich is strange, because it Skype tells me there is no soundcard. It
then asks me to reboot. (I kid you not). I reboot and it finds a new
videocard. WTF? This is a virtual machine. It then somehow tells me my
hardware (videocard) is not working properly. Whatever.

I then look up on de-installation of cywin, wich is not to be found, so
I rename C:\cygwin to c:\cygwin_backup and hope that will be enough.

I launch firefox, download the program. Unfortunaly that is where it
ends. I just get a grey X-window. :-(

They say pesticides have been linked to low sperm counts.
In my opinion if you have bugs down there that are so bad
you need to use a pesticide, you're not gonna get laid anyway.
