Beagle and ZMD were the culprits - each process associated with them was
using 6% of RAM according to ps -aux!!!
6% is nothing. RAM use also means nothing when looking at speed. What
you should look for is CPU usage and disk access usage. Most likely they
use that up a lot as well.
