I have a SDA II here and already got it working on Suse 10.0.I am having a similar problem, but not the same symptoms
Now on Suse 10.1 it does not...
sudo synce-serial-start....
Script /etc/ppp/ip-up finished (pid 6826), status = 0x0
I certainly get that far, aand cal ping the device - in my case
192.168.131.201
However Raki crashes right after being connected.I run Raki and get a grey icon in the docking bar, but that's it.
when starting Raki from commandline, I get the following output:
raki: in pda-initI don't get any of these outputs. In fact, nothing at all.
raki: in PDE::init
raki: New Partnership
My version is 0.7
What seems to be happening for me is that dccm is not detecting
anything happening . The web page description of dccm says "When a
device has connected and authenticated, the file
~/synce/active_connection is written with information about the
connected device."
no such file is written on my machine., either in synce or .synce I
tried createing debug scripts for the 4 dccm events, but I get a
disconnect/connect/start every time it is started and at no other time.
My device is an HP ipaq6340
