comp.databases.mysql?

I think its fair play to make these questions general purpose, although not
specific to Linux MySQL is a major draw in many circles and so it does
Linux good to have it said in the same breath. Also being the most used
Linux database the question applies to many of our users.

In the same way that we are happy with OO and other application questions.

Your right too though, the poster is obviously just finding his feet with
MySQL so probably should look into the news group (if its any good).
