Trying to install GnuCash

I downloaded the new GnuCash 2.0, untarred and unzipped, etc.
When I tried to compile it for my SUSE 10.1, it complained of missing
libraries. I went back to YAST twice and installed all of the requests.
Then, GnuCash 2.0 proceeded to compile normally (for almost two hours!)
until it got to the end of the compile. The final lines were:
grep: /usr/lib/libosp.la: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/libosp.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `/usr/lib/libosp.la' is not a valid libtool archive

Should I give up on GnuCash2.0, or is it possible to install it on SUSE
10.1?
Thanks,
Godzilla
